Truth — the minimal, non-overlay perception of sequence as it is encountered.
Truth, within this framework, is not the event itself and not a claim about objective correctness. It is the closest alignment perception can have with what exists before narrative, evaluative, identity-based, or meaning-making interpretation is added.
Layer 1 is what exists independent of perception.
Truth occurs in Layer 2 — when awareness registers sequence with only the interpretation required for functional recognition.
Truth is disciplined perception, not metaphysical certainty.
Truth is not Layer 1. It does not equal reality itself.
Truth is Layer 2 at its lowest distortion.
Truth allows basic perceptual processing (recognition, naming, sequencing).
Truth excludes narrative, motive attribution, evaluation, identity framing, and explanatory overlay.
Truth can immediately collapse into distortion if story replaces observation.
Layer 1 — What exists independent of narration.
Truth — Awareness encountering Layer 1 with minimal interpretation required for functional perception.
Overlay — Additional narrative or meaning added beyond what is required to register the event.
Truth is not what is real.
Truth is perception aligned as closely as possible with what is real, prior to added story.
